I blinked & it was all over

And just like that, my 13-day holiday break came to an end. For the last few weeks of 2012, I truly felt like a college student home on Christmas break. The last time I had 13 days off of work? Probably never!  It was most likely before I started my first big girl job.

The fact that a few of my best friends were also in town celebrating the holidays contributed to the feeling of college break. What would any 28-year old adult do on their very own ‘college-break?’

What didn’t I do would probably be a better question.

I attended a baby shower, attended my own bridal shower & relived the good ol’ days at the Ironwood…

Dean and I got all fancied up for Christmas Eve and we got to enjoy the Italian Feast of Seven Fishes AND my families’ party!

EVEN THE REAL SANTA CLAUS CAME TO THE MUNRO FAMILY CHRISTMAS (eve)!

christmas-collage2012The photos simply don’t show how much we all indulged!  There was copious amounts of food from fried calamari & scallops to standing prime rib roast!

After the first round of holiday parties, it was onto the second round which included: a surprise 30th birthday party, #holladays, building an inappropriate snowman & truck nutz.

All-in-all, it was a fantastic holiday season.  I just wish it didn’t fly by so quickly!!!  I’ll remember to try to soak in all in a bit better next year when I’m on Christmas vacation :P

Not documented: one too many dance parties on our coffee table, not-so-low key wine nights in with my best friends, intense games of Catch Phrase with Ian & Heather, the Design Surfaces holiday party, a sweatshirt NYE party and oh so much more!!!
