The past month or so has been hectic to say the least. Hectic in a good way though. As we got the house ready for our first Thanksgiving, we installed a new feature wall, had new windows and siding installed, detailed our office and cleaned the house with a fine-toothed comb (call me a party-cleaner).
That doesn’t mean we didn’t make any time for fun.
And instead of going out on the Wednesday before Turkey Day, we partied on Tuesday night!
Sans Thanksgiving hangover, we hosted a successful Turkey Day with a fried turkey and all the traditional fixin’s!
Yes, that’s a Canadian Tuxedo…part of said tuxedo may or may not have ended up in the bonfire!
And last but certainly not least, we got a head start by putting our holiday decorations early.
As much as I’d like to think life could start to slow down, I know that won’t happen. ‘Tis the season!

Ha, I’m totally a party cleaner, too!
That picture of Cabela kills me. Too cute.
I love the picture of Cabela too! Perfect Xmas card shot!!

We host Thanksgiving too. It’s a lot if work but totally worth it!
Cabela is soooo cute!

I have never hosted a Thanksgiving but did make my first dessert ever for the celebration.
